The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport circuit in Spielberg, Styria, in the east of Austria. Its origins date back to 1969, when the circuit was founded as Österreichring and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix.

The track was completely rebuilt and shortened in the mid-1990s and renamed the A1-Ring, again being the host for the Austrian Grand Prix from 1997 to 2003.

After a period of uncertainty, it was bought by Red Bull's Dietrich Mateschitz and the reconstruction of the track started in late 2008. The track was renamed the Red Bull Ring and it was reopened on 15 May 2011.

They gradually added both modern and vintage events over the years, culminating in the return of the Formula One Austrian Grand Prix in 2014. The Red Bull Ring also hosted a second F1 event named the Styrian Grand Prix in 2020 and 2021 (because of the COVID-19 pandemic forcing a rework of the F1 schedule).
