In normal circumstances, the 2020 season would have consisted out of 22 races, the highest number ever in a season. Two new tracks were added this season: Vietnam, a complete new street track in the city of Hanoi, and a refurbished old track for the Dutch GP in Zandvoort, which returns to the calendar following a 35 year absence.

Update 02.07.2020
At this moment however, we all know the Corona outbreak has completely messed up the 2020 season calendar. I have added "OLD" in front of the original 2020 calendar, and "NEW" in front of the current (known) calendar. I also started a new numbering for the completely revised calendar. For the moment only 8 races are confirmed yet, but the Formula 1 organisation hopes to publish the next half of the calendar in the coming weeks.
